How Financing Works With A1
We partner with consumer lenders that specialize in home improvement. You apply directly with the lender, usually online in a few minutes, and get a decision quickly. If approved, the lender pays us and you make monthly payments to them on the agreed terms. A1 doesn’t lend money and doesn’t add a markup for financing: your written quote is the price whether you finance or pay direct.

Financing FAQ
Does applying affect my credit score?
Many home improvement lenders offer a soft-credit pre-qualification that doesn’t affect your score, followed by a hard inquiry only if you proceed. We’ll tell you which our current partners use.
Is the price the same if I finance?
Yes. Your written quote is the price. We don’t inflate quotes to absorb financing costs.
Can I finance part of the project?
Yes. Many customers pay a portion directly and finance the rest.
What if I’m not approved?
We’ll talk through alternatives: a phased project (slab now, cover later), a simpler design, or a different lender. Nobody gets pressured into a project they can’t pay for.
How do payments to A1 work if I pay directly?
A deposit when materials are ordered, and the balance at completion after your walk-through. Never payment in full up front.
